The Via degli Dei

A route from Bologna to Florence,

on the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines

Bologna-Florence in short

The Via degli Dei is a 130km route that crosses the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines: from Piazza Maggiore in Bologna, to Piazza della Signoria in Florence.

Woods, paths and ancient, thousand-year-old roads will lead you to discover the charm of the mountains between Emilia and Tuscany.

Cartography, credentials

The official passport of the Via degli Dei: the pilgrim's credential witnesses your journey.

Each stage has a special stamp which will culminate in the poster at the end of the path.

The guide will tell you about the hidden wonders of the Apennines between Bologna and Florence!

Events

The lands of the Way are told through events that speak of traditions, stories and the identity of places and communities.

It happens that you may find yourself on the road and cross paths with singular events, it happens that these events become the perfect excuse to return to our lands.

"Strada facendo"

10 years ago the protocol of intent was signed that gave shape and structure to the walk.

This year we wanted to create a new publication, free and downloadable, dedicated to these 10 years of frequently asked questions that answer the many questions about the Way of the Gods.

“Strada Facendo” and also dedicated to awareness, starting out with knowledge and respect of the path, its balances and the environment in which it is found.

A booklet for those who want to do the Via, but also for those who have already done it or are doing it, to flip through pages of walking, tips and places!
