The "Parco della Chiusa" farmhouse is located in the heart of the homonymous park in Casalecchio di Reno, near Casa S. Margherita, on the path of the Ciclovia del Sole, the Via degli Dei and the Via della Lana e della Seta. Surrounded by lush nature and lavender fields, it can only be reached on foot or by bicycle. The main entrances to the Park, from Via Porrettana, are close to all services (grocery store, pharmacy, bar) and urban public transportation stops (lines 20, 89, 92, 83, 94). The facility is municipally owned, since 2019 it has been managed by the COpAPS Social and Agricultural Cooperative, which since 1979 has been involved in creating training and employment paths for disadvantaged people. The agritourism is an ideal place to stay while walking: it has an agritourism restaurant on the ground floor and four rooms, with private bathrooms, on the second floor. Two rooms are accessible to people with mobility disabilities. The proposed menu uses organic raw materials from our own production or at least from the territory. The rooms are furnished with furniture made in our social carpentry workshop, with reclaimed wood from green maintenance. The agritourism is also an educational farm and offers its guests workshop activities to discover the world of bees, honey, wildlife, park flora and organic farming. Choosing to stay at the Parco della Chiusa farmhouse, even if only for a snack in the green, means supporting our social inclusion projects.
