Agriturismo la Castellana derives from an old house that has been completely renovated taking special care to keep intact its characteristics of a Tuscan farmhouse, with great attention to detail. In the structure there are three rooms and a common room where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in a warm atmosphere of past times. There is no shortage of outdoor spaces where we can enjoy our meals in the noise of nature, in which fortunately we are immersed. Agriturismo La Castellana is nestled in the green Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, immediately after Passo Della Futa, at the foot of Monte Gazzaro, on CAI trail 50, twenty minutes from the Via degli Dei. Other numerous hiking trails can brighten the days of guests: wonderful hikes of various lengths and difficulties depart from here so as to satisfy both the beginner and the expert. However, there is no shortage of places to visit: in this regard, nearby are Sant'Agata, with its splendid Romanesque parish church and a small archaeological museum, and Scarperia with its 14th-century De' Vicari palace, which houses the Museum of Cutting Tools. In the summertime there are frequent village festivals and antique markets in nearby towns. About 50 km away is the splendid Florence.
