La Pieve Bed & Breakfast, run by the Innocenti family, is located in San Piero a Sieve, inside an early 20th-century building. The structure takes its name from the Romanesque parish church built around the year 1000, which stands opposite. The house, which was completely renovated in 1999, made possible the birth of La Pieve Locanda per Viandanti B&B in 2003. The ground floor reserves for guests two small rooms for breakfast and relaxation. The upper floor and garden rooms are completely reserved for guests. The 12 beds are distributed in single, double and triple rooms. Each room has a bathroom for private use, air conditioning, linen, hairdryer, personal hygiene cleansers, and books are never lacking. From the ground floor there is access to the garden, green and flowery, a good remedy for resting tired or sore feet. In the garden there are loungers and tables, but also an artesian well from which cool water gushes out in midsummer, perfect for a foot bath. In the shared garden there is also a small outdoor kitchenette and barbecue, appreciated by those who still have energy to roast sausages over coals. A useful bike storage and washing area is available for cyclists, as well as a tool kit for repairs. The entire B&B area has free wi-fi. Breakfast is served, from 6:00 a.m., in the indoor dining rooms or in the garden including home-made cakes and a wide variety of homemade products. For those who wish to leave before 6, a "breakfast to go" service is available. The family is available, if necessary, at reasonable cost, to transport luggage to the next facility and to prepare a sack lunch. In addition, as experience teaches, they stand ready to rescue by retrieving the guest who during the walk is caught by unexpected difficulty to finish the stage on foot. Within 150 meters there are four excellent trattorias where you can dine. Within walking distance you will find a pharmacy, supermarket, ATM, newsstand, stationery store, laundromat and more.
